Chagrin River Park

Chagrin River Park is well known for its rustic bridge reaching across the Chagrin River. Filled with trails perfect for walking or running, it is also a great park for picnics. Family friendly all year round, in the winter the large hill located in the center of the park is perfect for kids of all ages to sled ride down.

Garfield Park

Garfield Park is right off the historical site of James A. Garfield's house. The park itself is a tribute to the former president's wife; Eleanor B. Garfield. Built in the 1950's, today the park is host to many sports competitions. Ranging from thrilling cross country meets for local Mentor High, to baseball, tennis and etc.

Headlands Beach Park

Headlands Beach Park is a nice place to get away for a weekend. From wide, open, sandy beaches to the sand dunes, Heaadlands Beach Park is a great place for people of all ages. Featuring the lighthouse and occasional sand art there is always something to emmerse yourself in.

Mentor Lagoons

Mentor Lagoons is an extraordinary place to go for a hike or to explore the untamed wilderness. Being along the lake, the lagoons feature cliffs tracing the beach giving a perfect set up to watch the sunset.Also a great location to gather materials such as sea glass and clay.The perfect place to discover your adventurous side.

Veterans Park

Located near the lagoons, Veterans Park is a peaceful area to picnic. With the vast pond, fishing is a common activity to enjoy all year round.The spacious pavillion at the enterance of the park is great shelter to enjoy a break from the sun or even snow; thanks to the always active fireplace.
